Antenatal Clinic
We are here to support you and your baby through pregnancy. At 8 weeks post natal, you will be seen in clinic for routine review of physical and mental health and your baby offered the initial immunisations.

Long Term Conditions
If you suffer from Cardiovascular disease, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney disease or have had a stroke you will be invited annually to see the specialist nurse to review your medication and general health to prevent further complications. This will involve blood tests and optimising lifestyle.

Diabetic Clinic
The Surgery will contact each patient who requires a review annually, usually during their birth month. All chronic disease appointments are nurse-led by our Health Promotion Team.

Cervical Smear Appointments
Patients will receive a letter from the NHS inviting them to attend a smear test at the Surgery. We also will carry out a personal health check at the time of the smear appointment.

NHS Health Checks
If you are not receiving an annual review as part of monitoring a long term condition, and you are aged between 40 and 74, we would like to offer you an NHS health check. The purpose of this check up is to review the risk of developing diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol & lifestyle to optimise your health.

Contraceptive Services
We offer coil and implant fittings, removals and changes to patients in a confidential setting with a female GP. We also give comprehensive advice on family planning and all methods of contraception, to help you make the right choice for you.

Over 75's Health Check
Health checks are also being offered to our patients aged 75 years and over.
If you haven’t seen one of our GP’s or Nurses over the last 12 months, we’d suggest contacting us to arrange an appointment for a health check.

Travel Advice & Vaccinations
We no longer run a travel clinic
We can only administer the NHS vaccinations.
All Patients will need to get their own travel advice and have all chargeable vaccinations through a Travel Clinic. Some larger pharmacies also offer Travel clinics.

PSA & Prostate Checks
For men aged 50 and over, we can offer a prostate blood test (PSA) which can be helpful in detecting early prostate cancer. If you have a family history or Black ethnicity you may be at greater risk so we offer this to those over 45 years.

Menopause, Perimenopause & HRT
For women over 40 who are concerned about menopause, our GPs are highly experienced and trained in symptom control and HRT, please book in to discuss HRT or lifestyle changes to help manage symptoms.

Mental Health
Our team is highly experienced in managing a broad range of mental health illnesses. We work closely with Worcester Healthy Minds and the Community Mental Health Trust to offer the best care we can.
Patients with Severe Mental illness history will be invited for an annual physical and mental health check. We work closely with the family psychology service for Autism referrals and Right to Choose to enable patients with concerns around ADHD to be seen promptly. We support shared care prescribing. We strive to be an Autism friendly practice

Joint Injections & Minor Operations
Our GPs are able to offer joint injections in the surgery for knees and shoulders and other joints when indicated. We also offer minor operations for non-cancerous skin lesions or small lumps & bumps.

Learning Disability Reviews
We offer all patients with a learning disability a comprehensive annual review, usually with the nurse they have seen previously to gain confidence and continuity of care. We work closely with the whole PCN for the reviews.

Gender Services
Our team is experienced in supporting patients with gender services and prescribing when appropriate through shared care agreements.

Frailty
We work closely with the PCN to improve care to our frailest patients. We can offer a frailty assessment at home and cases are discussed at our MDT meetings

Healthy Minds
Worcestershire Wellbeing Hub is an information and signposting service for people over the age of 16 who are experiencing low mood, anxiety or stress, and feel that they would benefit from support.

Non-NHS Services.
We are happy to undertake, by appointment, medical examinations and reports for insurance companies. We can also provide specific reports for such things as fitness to travel and sporting activity, and will complete other medical reports for example for holiday cancellation and driving requirements.
Please allow up to 4 weeks for completion of forms, certificates, claims or reports. This work is outside the NHS system and a charge will be made.
